Upgrade History
Update released on November 19, 2025
- Version 1.5.1
- Submitted vs. Credited Report Correction: The "Difference" column in all BMP tabs has been updated so that the calculation now reflects amount submitted minus amount credited (instead of the previous reversed subtraction). The column has also been renamed to "AmountNotCredited". All resulting values will now display as zero or positive for clearer interpretation of remaining uncredited BMPs.
- Prioritization Tool Wording Improvements: Several text updates were made across the prioritization setup and results pages to improve clarity. No calculations were changed.
- Minor interface, labeling, and backend updates were implemented to improve overall tool efficiency and usability.
Update released on August 26, 2025
- Version 1.5.0
- Prioritization tool is now available.
- Scenario runs are different than prioritization runs. Prioritization runs are intended to provide information about the most effective BMPs for the user’s goals and the amount of implementation that is optimal for each of those BMPs on each land use present. These data can then be used in a regular scenario using “Export BMPs To A New Scenario” button on the prioritization run’s results page.
- Prioritization runs evaluate the maximum impact of each individual BMP according to the user’s input on goals. Goals include willingness to implement certain BMPs, funding, land area available, and priority pollutant on the defined area of interest.
- Scenarios evaluate all the BMPs together. Running the prioritization results as a scenario should be the user’s final step. Estimated loads will be different between prioritization runs and scenarios. Land use change BMPs change the underlying acres in each land use. The BMPs are then applied to the updated land use acres in scenarios. In prioritization runs, the land use acres are not updated as more BMPs are added to a prioritization run.
Update released on June 13, 2025
- Version 1.4.0
- All BMP Tracker scenarios have been refreshed with the latest data pull. Scenario descriptions have been updated to reflect the most recent pull date.
- A correction was made to the BMP Submitted vs. Credited report. While the underlying calculations were always correct, the report query was previously proportioning results incorrectly for certain geographies (excluding NHD catchments). This issue has been resolved. Note: Any Submitted vs. Credited reports run prior to June 13, 2025, should be re-run to reflect accurate geography-based allocations.
Update released on May 22, 2025
- Version 1.4.0

Update released on December 18, 2024
- Version 1.3.0
- The rounding in the BMP Submitted vs Credited reports has been updated to reflect more specific BMP amounts.
- The loading rate for the agricultural open space land use has been updated to be consistent with historical loading rates. Any reports run prior to December 18th, 2024 should be re-run for accurate loads.
Update released on October 16, 2024
- Version 1.3.0
- A correction to the total acres in the Scenario Loads, Loads Compare, TMDL, and Scenario Landuse reports was made. The loads in these reports were not affected by the update. Any reports run prior to October 16th, 2024 should be re-run for accurate acreages.
Update released on July 31, 2024
- Version 1.3.0
